UAV-Neutralizer
The UAVNeutralizer project focuses on the development and validation of an intelligent system for detecting, localising, and neutralising malicious UAVs to protect critical infrastructure.
The system combines:
Distributed sensing technologies, including RF spectrum monitoring, wireless protocol detection, and radar
Data fusion mechanisms to integrate heterogeneous sensor inputs
Machine learning algorithms trained on real and simulated data to improve detection accuracy
Automated decision-making for triggering neutralisation actions
Electronic countermeasures, such as RF jamming, GPS spoofing, and protocol disruption
Optimised deployment architecture, with sensors and transmitters positioned around protected infrastructure
The system is designed to operate as a centralised platform controlling a network of sensors and transmitters, enabling the creation of adaptive “no-fly zones” and the ability to respond to multiple UAV threats in real time.
The project aims to deliver a TRL-5validated system, demonstrating performance in a real-world environment.
